This past weekend the Baltic Sea League organized a preseason warm-up camp with two neighbor football teams from the Baltics – Riga Lions (Latvia) and Vilnius Iron Wolves (Lithuania). Although the Iron Wolves will not be playing this Baltic Sea League season the camp served as a great opportunity for the Lithuanian team to gain new practice experience from Latvian team and their new head coach Al Witkovski (USA) who was leading the two day training event. On April 23 and 24 the Baltic Sea League Preseason Offensive Skill Camp took place in Riga, Latvia. The camp was led by coaches –  Matt Kessinger (USA), Shamanie Peters (USA), Teemu Kuusisto (Finland) and Nesi Niclas Carpelan (Finland). The two-day event gathered American football teams from Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus. Together with the Baltic Sea League 2015 champions Riga Lions were also two up-and-coming teams the Vitebsk Storm Riders and the Vilnius Iron Wolves. Read More
